USAWEB1.com originated in 1998 when I first began my Web development career. In 1999 I began the pursuit of a computer degree at Rock Valley College... graduating with Highest Honors and a 4.0/4.0 GPA in 2001. The photo above was taken just prior to our leaving for commencement exercises, where I received my Associate in Applied Science degree as a "Personal Computer Technical Specialist". While pursuing my computer degree, I had a personal motto, "All it takes is one B... in one class... to really mess up your Grade Point Average!". That motto served me well, delivering my 3rd degree, (Bachelor of Science in Marketing, U.S. Dept. of Labor Journeyman Certification in Manufacturing, Associates in Applied Science in Computer Science), and my 2nd successive 4.0/4.0 GPA. Although I recently accepted the position as Web Site Coordinator at a major, multi-national biotechnology company in northern Illinois, I still love the artistic freedom of freelance Web development work. I create Web sites that are: visually pleasing, easy to navigate, provide crisp graphics that still load quickly, and present a site with an overall professional and coherent look and feel. I would enjoy discussing your upcoming Web site project with you! Contact me at: COPYRIGHT
USAWEB1.com Henderson Web Development & Marketing I am in the process of designing a new home for my Henderson Web Development & Marketing. Although I am just in the very initial stages of setting up the site, I do have an interesting new demo of my "Edit-It-Yourself" Web interface. This technology allows even non-Web designers to update their own site. Check it out... COPYRIGHT USAWEB1.com U.A. Local 23 - Plumbers & Pipefitters Union
This is one of my most recent projects, which just went live in early September 2004. This project is unique in that it is completely database-driven and was developed with an administrator interface that allows an authorized staff member to update all of their Web site pages... without having to know any HTML or Web programming! All pages are edited within a GUI interface and then saved to the database, ready for the Web server to serve up the pages. My description really doesn't do it justice, so if you would like to try editing a page using a similar administrator interface, check out my Edit-It-Yourself demo. Note: Remember... this is the administrator interface you will be viewing. Due to the fact that it does have to download several items for the interface to work properly, it may take a few seconds to load. Please be patient. COPYRIGHT USAWEB1.com Identification Technologies, Inc. From late 2002 through early 2004, I was the Marketing Manager at Identification Technologies, Inc. During my time as Marketing Manager, in addition to working on mass-marketing campaigns, creating sales brochures and advertisements, researching potential customers and all the other things marketing managers do... I also completely redesigned and updated their Web site. If you are in the market for photo ID printers, metal tag marking machines, door access systems... or just want to see the site I designed, check out the Identi-Tech Web site. In the past couple of years since I originally designed the site, the church has been keeping it updated. The site looks a bit different now than it did when I first created it.
